The cost for active participants is €490 – this includes 4 lessons for each participant (2 with chosen senior professor and 1 with each junior professor) and the accommodation. All classes are open to the public (free admission).

We ask all applicants to submit a link to their most recently recorded YouTube-video(s) via the online application form (free program – at least two different styles, no time limit). We will select a maximum of 30 participants for the Academy. Should there be more applicants than spaces available, we will hold a preselection. All participants will be notified about the results by e-mail, no later than two weeks after the application deadline.
The price of the accommodation is included in the course fee and each participant will be provided with a shared double/ twin room in the wonderful hotel B&B Lodz .
Registration will take place on Monday 19th August 2019 at the BISMA office at the Grazyna and Kiejstut Bacewicz Academy of Music in Lodz, Gdanska 32 St., 90-716 Lodz, Poland.
The masterclasses will take place daily between 10 AM and 1 PM and in the afternoon between 3 PM and 6 PM (on 22nd and 25th August only morning sessions)
The Opening Ceremony will take place on Monday 19th August 2019 at 6 PM at the Grazyna and Kiejstut Bacewicz Academy of Music in Lodz, Gdanska 32 St., 90-716 Lodz, Poland.

International G.Bacewicz Prize:
At the end of the week of the Summer Academy, each senior professor will nominate two students from his class to take part in the Gala Concert where the International G.Bacewicz Prize will be awarded to the best participant of the 2019 Bacewicz International Summer Music Academy.
The Gala Concert and Award Ceremony of the 2019 BISMA will take place on 25th August 2019 at 6 PM at the Concert Hall of the Grażyna and Kiejstut Bacewicz Academy of Music in Lodz, Zubardzka 2 A St., 91-032 Lodz, Poland.
